Eligibility:

Candidate currently must be in the 9th grade in a U.S. public school, must complete one full year of algebra by June of application year, must be a U.S. citizen or legal resident and must have a demonstrated financial need. The program accepts applications from African-American and Hispanic/Latino students from Atlanta; Baltimore; Boston; Chicago; Cleveland; Fort Worth, Texas; Lawrence, Mass.; Louisville, Ky.; Memphis, Tenn.; New York City; and Washington, D.C. Native-American students may apply from any geographic area of the United States.
