Music Fest Perugia: http://www.musicfestperugia.net/aboutus.html

"Over two weeks in the summer, Music Fest Perugia provides a challenging but inviting environment for young performers aimed at keeping the classical repertoire vibrant and alive. During the festival, students take private lessons, perform in master classes and have the opportunity to fill Perugia’s beautiful and historic halls (Sala dei Notari and Basilica di San Pietro, the latter a favorite of Herbert Karajan and Maria Callas) with recitals and concerti accompanied by an orchestra over three evenings. While the festival has historically been based on young pianists, we have since gone on to incorporate vocalists and are actively recruiting chamber music performers in 2010. From a modest start in Montecastello di Vibio in 2006 (8 pianists), we have grown into a sizeable annual presence in Perugia, at times filling our five-star host Hotel Brufani with more than 50 musicians."
