Here's what a former coordinator said about the participant selection process:

"There are some specific rules regarding who can be invited and why. Each year the nine sponsoring colleges issue invitations to about 80 counselors from across the country. Because there are nine colleges involved in the program, there must be some general agreement about who to invite -- we hash this out at a meeting in the spring each year (so by mid-May, invitations for the upcoming December have already been issued). Finally, one of program rules states that each counselor must have met (in person) a representative from one of the sponsoring colleges. This is meant to help ensure a good group dynamic. Short answer: a committee of folks from all nine colleges is responsible for issuing invitations."

Pennsylvania - PACAC offers a free counselor tour to all conference registrants. The 2018 conference at the Kalahari resort will debut the inaugural College Counseling Leadership Institute. The 48-hour workshop (Friday, June 22nd-Sunday, June 24th) will include tours of the University of Scranton, Marywood University, King's College, Wilkes University, and Misericordia University in addition to seminar sessions on leading a dynamic college counseling program at your school. Conference registration (Sunday, June 24th-Tuesday, June 26th; one-day registration is available) will cover all expenses of the tour, including transportation between schools, lodging, and meals.
